Just north of the Netherlands there is this really cute island called Schiermonnikoog. After a few days of rest, we decided to drive up there and take a ferry across to discover what it had to offer. We were not disappointed…
We rented some bikes and rode all over the island to see the lighthouses, experience the beach and do some shopping in the quaint, cute little town. Riding the bikes was probably the funnest part of the whole day.
Grampy just had to put his toe in the North Sea, but was a little too chicken to take his shoe and sock off first. It was a chilly day!

Tybee and I loved the bike. I wish I could find one of these bikes to buy for my own. It was so much fun to ride around the island in style.
