Ok, it is so not Christmas anymore and I am so very late on this post, but…
A month ago, a few days after Christmas, Ethan lost his two front teeth. It was quite the experience for him…
One of the teeth was barely hanging on and so Ethan agreed to have James pull it out. It popped right out with no trouble. Afterwards, he mentioned that the other one was loose too. This one wasn’t as loose as the first, but it was still ready to come out. Unfortunately he was not up for having both of them gone. So we decided to try some bribing to get him to allow James to pull it out. This kid is very smart because he ended up getting me to make him a two layer cake of his choice and James to go buy him the $25 nerf gun that he really wanted. It was worth it to have those teeth out with no more worrying over it.
It was really weird at first seeing him with his missing teeth. He looked and sounded like a completely different kid. We’re used to it now, though, and he is definitely the same old Ethan, he is just growing up.
